Define the purchase decision
A COA helps verify an agreed product and lot. It cannot replace the suspension trial, and apparently matching charge or viscosity figures can be misleading when suppliers use different methods or reporting bases.
Keep the proposed product identity connected to the tested suspension and the intended separator.
Define what each field means
Request units, concentration, water or solvent, temperature and analytical procedure behind the reported indicator. Distinguish hydrolysis from another charge measure and moisture from a defined active-product basis. The supplier checklist keeps these definitions beside the commercial identity.
Do not convert a supplier range into a customer acceptance limit without establishing that the measurements are comparable.
Separate identity from function
Choose factory controls that identify the offered grade and support lot consistency. Keep process-specific settling, clarity and compaction acceptance in a separate application record. A factory cannot meaningfully certify every customer slurry unless a defined reference suspension and procedure have been agreed.
Likewise, a favorable customer cylinder does not resolve an unexplained mismatch in code or lot documentation.
Agree how a discrepancy is handled
Retain approved powder and compare questioned material using the same preparation, fresh feed and method. Repeat meaningful differences. Review water, induction and dose calculations if both retained and incoming samples fail compared with history.
Release or hold under the agreed quality procedure, not by silently changing a limit to fit the arriving document.
Check a misleading apparent improvement
If two COAs show the same viscosity but use different solution concentrations, record the values as non-equivalent until methods are reconciled. Do not reject an otherwise suitable candidate merely to preserve a familiar number, or accept an untraceable grade because that number happens to match the incumbent sheet.
Retain the comparison conditions and any unresolved acceptance requirement with the proposed purchase.
Set the release boundary
Approve the document template, revision and method references with the order. Require clarification before aliases or test-method changes are treated as equivalent to the originally accepted product.
| Purchase requirement | Required evidence | Release condition |
|---|---|---|
| Data | Methods, units and reporting basis | Numbers have comparable meaning |
| Function | Separate application record | COA is not a universal guarantee |
| Release | Discrepancy and retained-sample procedure | Receiving decisions are reproducible |
Send a focused commercial request
Send the proposed COA fields, technical data and any required acceptance limits. Mark whether a requirement concerns product identity, traceability or a separately agreed application test.
Include quantity, package and destination with the sample and RFQ record. Review quality and supply controls with Gongyi Xinqi Polymer Co., Ltd.; confirm grade-specific terms and availability before ordering.
Request a product and supply review
Send the suspension, treatment route and proposed purchasing scope.
