Define the purchase decision
Powder and liquid quotations can describe different preparation systems and different active-product bases. A purchase comparison must identify the offered chemistry and form before using price or dose to claim equivalence.
Keep the proposed product identity connected to the tested suspension and the intended separator.
Identify the liquid proposal
Ask whether the alternative is an emulsion, dispersion or prepared solution, and confirm the intended polymer family. Do not assume every liquid sold as an anionic polyelectrolyte has the same composition or activation route. Keep technical identity and SDS references with each commercial line.
The powder profile is the current scope; any alternative form still needs separate availability and application confirmation.
Compare installed preparation needs
Powder needs controlled induction and hydration. A liquid alternative may need its own activation, dilution or mixing arrangement. Document pumps, water, tank residence, transfer and operator requirements instead of assuming that a liquid can simply enter the powder hopper system.
Use the existing powder preparation record as the incumbent baseline, not as a recipe for the alternative.
Normalize qualified use
State supplied mass, reported active or solids basis and measured consumption on the same solids and endpoint. Include freight, storage, package handling and any installation changes. The dose calculation prevents solution volume from being confused with polymer mass.
A lower unit price or a smaller pump volume is not a demonstrated reduction in treatment cost.
Check a misleading apparent improvement
If a liquid proposal quotes a smaller pump flow, first establish its supplied-product concentration and calibration. A different volume cannot demonstrate lower polymer use. Compare the qualified mass delivered to the same dry-solids duty, and keep activation or equipment costs visible before deciding whether a form change is justified.
Retain the comparison conditions and any unresolved acceptance requirement with the proposed purchase.
Set the release boundary
Keep separate qualification status for each product form. If a liquid trial is not available, record it as an unverified option rather than an accepted replacement for the tested powder.
| Purchase requirement | Required evidence | Release condition |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Chemistry and physical form | Offers describe known products |
| Installation | Activation and delivery route | Proposed conversion is practical |
| Cost | Comparable consumption and delivery scope | Award follows verified use |
Send a focused commercial request
Send incumbent preparation details, both product data sheets, supply quantities and the intended comparison basis. Identify conversion constraints and which production tests can be performed.
Include quantity, package and destination with the sample and RFQ record. Review quality and supply controls with Gongyi Xinqi Polymer Co., Ltd.; confirm grade-specific terms and availability before ordering.
Request a product and supply review
Send the suspension, treatment route and proposed purchasing scope.
